About Seabourne IT Consulting
Seabourne IT Consulting was founded by Mark Seabourne, drawing on nearly 30 years working with business-critical technology, from hands-on technical delivery through infrastructure and operations leadership to security architecture.
The approach starts with understanding what an organisation has, why it has it, who owns it, what it depends on and what the business needs from it. From there, the aim is to identify what is working well, what presents a risk and what genuinely needs to change.
A practical approach
Technology consulting should result in something useful.
That might be a clearer understanding of the current environment, a prioritised set of risks and actions, a technology roadmap, or practical support delivering a specific piece of change.
Recommendations should be appropriate to the organisation and the problem. Existing technology that is working well does not need replacing simply because something newer exists, and good practice should provide useful structure rather than unnecessary bureaucracy.
Seabourne can work independently, alongside internal IT teams, or with existing technology suppliers. Where specialist expertise, formal certification or accredited assessment is required outside Seabourne's scope, that boundary will be made clear.
